• Tell me about your educational background/training
Berk : has an ordinary educational background like others. I wanted to goArt Academy for my high school education but i missed the exam date! Now I am a 4th year student at Graphic Design Department at Bilkent University, Ankara/Turkey.

• What projects are you working on at the moment
As I am a last year student at my department, I have became intense on my graduation (senior) project. Nowadays i don’t have any extra jobs, just focused on my project to increase my grades.

• Describe your style.
Always start with sketches, i think; the most important part on a design is sketching part. If you have a successful sketch you will have a good desing too! It is your idea that become visual on your paper. It is the foundation of your work. After sketching I generally prefer vector base programs for coloring my works, so i generally work with vectors.

• What is the inspiration behind your work
Books that i read in my childhood, my father that makes me love art and design, animations, comics, newspapers, musics that i listen, people, TV, games, emotional situations or funny situations... Basicly everything in the life can be an inspiration for me! My main inspiration is
my imagination that spreading out with life itself.

• What/who influences you
My family, my friends, me myself :)

• Your favorite Movie
Lots of... But firstly Amores Perros! Besides my favourites movies, i try to watch all movies that i can find because movies are also help to my imagination, so this is important for me! Any kind of movie from any country...

• Your favorite music
Turkish rap mc Sagopa Kajmer is my favourite. Also; Jamiroquai, Norah Jones, Mos Def!

• Describe how a typical weekend in your life looks like.
Berk : lie down on my bed with my computer, watching DVDs and playing PS2 when i am at home! Strolling in music and book stores and generally I go out clubs or bars with my friends at weekend nights... Ordinary weekends in my country :)

• What are your future plans
If I can take a scholarship I want to go to America for a master program on cartooning or animation... Then, my biggest dream is to have an animation studio like Pixar and have an Oscar on The Best Animation and Character!! What a dream, maybe..:) If i must come one step
down; also it will be very good; working in Pixar as a character designer. These are my future plans, ohh sorry future dreams :)

• The Five most important things in your life are
My family, my computer, my right hand, my books and my hope to future!
